How do I prepare my soup?

We avoid gums, emulsifiers and dairy to keep our ingredients as clean as can be. As a result our soups need a little more love when it comes to preparation - freshly boiled water, a whisk or a fork should do the trick!

Grab your favourite mug or bowl (travel mugs work a treat too) and add 125ml freshly boiled water. Empty your sachet into the mug (on top of the water) and add a further 125ml of hot water. Stir well, rest of 2 minutes then enjoy!

Prefer a thicker soup? Just add less water!

I have a dietary requirement, can I still have these soups?

Yep! Every soup is gluten-free, vegan and free from all 14 major allergens. Our soups are prepared in a SALSA accredited factory so we can be extra sure. If you have any concerns at all, please drop us an email and we will do our best help.

Why are these a healthier alternative to other instant soups?

We champion REAL whole-food ingredients (veggies, herbs and spices) which provide plenty of flavour and essential nutrients. This means we leave out any artificial flavours, colours, preservatives, gums, emulsifers, palm oils or artificial flavour enhancers.

Our soups contain a significantly higher proportion of raw-veg powders which offer an incredibly nutrient rich source of essential vitamins, minerals and fibre.

We source the best quality ingredients from our truster suppliers. Our herbs, spices and vegetable powders have been gently dehydrated at low temperatures in order to preserve as much or the original nutrition as possible. The vegetable powders are super concentrated (a bit like tomato paste you might find in the cupboard at home!) - for example, just 6 grams of beetroot powder (2 teaspoons) is the equivalent of roughly two whole beetroots!

We love dehydrated vegetable powders because they are a great way of naturally extending the shelf life of fresh vegetables and making the most of veggies at their peak harvest. They are often made from 'wonky' veg and help prevent unnecessary food waste.

How are Soul Kitchen soups made?

We select the best dried ingredients and blend each soup in small batches using our secret recipes.

Are your soups spicy?

You certainly won't find out soups bland! Because we try to reduce salt content and don't add any sugar - we've developed our recipes with inspiration from international cuisine (Mexico, Thailand & India). We advise that all our soups are medium in spice but of course everyone's preference is different.

What is the shelf life on your soups?

By choosing to avoid emulsifiers, stabilisers, and artificial preservatives, our shelf life may be slightly shorter than others. We believe natural ingredients are worth it. We aim to give you at least 8 months shelf life on your products but if you have any concerns just drop us an email.

Ordering

How will my soup arrive?

After placing your order, you'll receive updates and tracking from Royal Mail. Soups come in boxes of 12 individual sachets.

Who do I contact with Delivery questions?

Fill in the contact form at the bottom of this page with your order number and issue and we'll get back to you asap.

Can I return unwanted items?

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unopened and unused and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll organise a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Please note that a flat rate of £4 will be deducted. 

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Cancellation
If you wish to cancel you need to contact us ASAP. You may cancel an order without penalty as long as we receive the notification before it has been processed for delivery. We reserve the right not to accept or to cancel any order once accepted, without penalty.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us using the form below.
