Growing up, my family loved soup... there is nothing quite like a warm bowl of homemade soup shared over the table at lunchtime.
When I went to university, I was frustrated at the lack of variety, imagination and nutrition when it came to quick and easy lunch options on the shelf. Ingredients I couldn't pronounce and nothing which resembled real food...
And so, I started cooking up a new idea! Vegetable powders and other superfoods soon filled my kitchen and I experimented with ways to make them taste delicious!
We spent hours in the kitchen trying, testing (and lots of tasting!). Working with a nutritionist to ensure our recipes did good and tasted good, we finally found the perfect manufacturing partner based in Bristol.
We grabbed our aprons, our spoons and bowls and headed out to farmers markets and events to share our soups far and wide. And with so much positive feedback, this was the moment we realised… our soups were loved by more than just our family and we could really be on to something!
